I'm Kellan, and I started Promised Vintage somewhere between a quarter-life crisis and a minor life reset.

In June 2025, I found a random little ring while vintage shopping in my childhood vacation town — it had "promised" engraved on it, and something about that word felt symbolic. At the time, I was deep in confusion about whether the life I was building actually felt authentic to me. I bought the ring, put it on, and promised myself I'd stop waiting to follow my passions and start making intentional choices, moment by moment. Creating this shop was my first real step toward that alignment — and its name has been a symbol of that commitment ever since.

My hope is that you found Promised Vintage because you have the same devotion to honing your most authentic self. You recognize that getting dressed should feel like an extension of who you are at your core. To make that possible, I source one-of-one, rare, and discontinued European designer pieces directly from Europe — the kind of finds that just don't exist in the US market and most people only ever see on a mood board.

We all understand the relationship between clothing and identity — how the right piece can feel less like a purchase and more like a recognition. Like it was already yours, you just hadn't found it yet. That's what I'm trying to curate here. Not just cool stuff, but pieces that actually mean something to the person wearing them.
